Te Wero Bridge

Te Wero Bridge, New Zealand

KGAL were part of a team, headed by Hyder and Denton Corker Marshall, which prepared the winning submission in the competition for an opening bridge on the Auckland waterfront.

The £19million Te Wero Bridge will span more that 40 metres between Te Wero Island and a waterfront quay in the New Zealand City.

The Double Bascule Bridge is to assist with the flow of pedestrians around the harbour area.

KGAL’s scope of work included the Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical operating and control systems.
