Minworth
KGAL were retained by Tema to provide the design and detailed manufacture drawings for a 5m span x 3m deep Radial Gate for Minworth STW.
The undershot gate is required to accurately regulate flow through an open channel. The level of accuracy required for control of the hydraulic operating cylinders was particularly onerous.
KGAL also provided design and procurement specifications for the hydraulic and electrical operating and control systems.
The gate was fully assembled and tested in Tema's works before installation on site. |
