Tri-jack
A major international manufacturer of hydraulic engineering equipment needed to develop a special purpose jacking machine for lifting heavy bridge fabrications into position prior to welding.
KGAL joined the design team and undertook the structural design of the tri-corner jack which is the heart of the machinery. The hydraulic equipment was required to be compliant with all modern codes of practice, including international standards.
The eventual machinery went on to pass its commissioning tests and has subsequently been used to build two suspension bridges. We believe this to be a perfect example of partnering with our Clients. |
